Bacon, some heart from the Jalapenos and cream cheese!?! Sounds good to me. These are great snacks for low carb dieters and super easy to make. Best part is you can easily adapt the recipe and stuff the Jalapenos with whatever you want. Guacamole is really good too if you aren’t a cheese fan.

This is with the cream cheese stuffing, but as you can see they aren’t bad for you at all making them a great low carb snack!
Ingredients
- 16 whole jalapenos
- 16 strips bacon
- 4 oz cream cheese
- 1/2 cup cheddar cheese (shredded)
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp paprika
Servings: servings (8 poppers in a serving)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- Take the bacon and slice it in half (giving you 32 half strips)
- Cut all the Jalapenos in half and remove the seeds. If you like yours a little hotter you can leave some of the seeds there.
- Mix the cream cheese and the cheddar cheese together in a bowl.
- Then spread the cream cheese mixture into the Jalapeno halves.
- The wrap each stuffed Jalapeno half with a strip of the bacon.
- Get a baking tray and line it with tin foil. Then lay the wrapped jalapenos on the tray leaving a little space between them.
- Bake in the oven for 20 to 25 minutes. The bacon should be cooked and crispy. You can leave them in longer if you like, longer you cook the less spicy the jalapenos will be. So we cook ours for 20 minutes. We like spicy!
- Sprinkle salt and paprika over the cooked poppers and enjoy!
