This is a great low carb bread recipe to use for your burgers or even for breakfast sandwiches! The taste and texture is what really makes these buns one of the better recipes you find. Almond flour can be a little pricey though but in my opinion they are definitely worth it. These Almond Buns have 7 grams of carbs and 3 grams of fiber. While not as low as a flax seed bread they are still a great low carb option.
Ingredients
- 3/4 cup Almond Flour
- 2 large eggs
- 5 tbsp butter (unsalted)
- 1.5 tsp Splenda (baking)
- 1.5 tsp baking powder
Servings: Servings
Instructions
- Preheat over to 350 degrees.
- Add all the dry ingredients to a bowl and mix them.
- Whisk in the 2 large eggs.
- Melt the butter and then add it to the mix. Whisk all the ingredients.
- Pour into a muffin top pan (six spots).
- Bake for 13 to 17 minutes depending on your oven. Check after 13 minutes. You want the edges to just start to turn brown.
- Remove buns from pan and place on a wire cooling rack.
Recipe Notes
This mix is supposed to be pretty dense and sticky. But make sure to spread it evenly in the pan.
